Choose by structure

The right template starts with your content.

Name the main job

Decide whether the page should introduce you, show work, organize links, explain an offer, fill an event, or celebrate a wedding.

Gather the real content

Choose a structure that fits your actual copy and images instead of forcing your content into a dramatic layout.

Review both screen sizes

Replace the example content, then check the desktop and mobile previews before publishing your page.

What every layout needs

A good template is more than a polished first screen.

  • A clear H1 and an understandable first action
  • A readable section order on desktop and mobile, without a multi-page menu
  • Real text for important information, not text baked into images
  • Search title, description, sharing image, and image alt fields
  • A useful ending with a contact or next action
Examples versus templates

Borrow decisions, not someone else’s identity.

Our original examples explain why each layout works and where it can go wrong. Use them to make better content choices, then start from the structure that fits your own page.

Template questions

Before you choose a starting point.

Are these one-page website templates free?

Yes. All 30 current templates are marked Free and can be edited and published on a free OnlyPage subdomain with an OnlyPage badge. The template system also supports paid templates if they are introduced later.

Are the templates responsive?

Yes. Every layout has desktop and mobile compositions. In particular, split and editorial designs reorder their imagery, text, and actions on smaller screens rather than shrinking a desktop layout.

Can I change the colors, images, and content?

Yes. Replace the example text and photography, upload your own images, reorder elements, and adjust the visual style while keeping the information order that suits your goal.

Which one-page template should I choose?

Start with your page’s job, then compare the three approaches in that category. Personal sites, portfolios, link pages, landing pages, freelancer services, small businesses, weddings, and events each have three dedicated structures.

Do these templates need navigation menus?

No. Each template is a single focused page. Clear section order and a direct action replace multi-page navigation; a small anchor link can be added only when a longer page genuinely needs it.

Are the example photographs and sites real customer work?

No. The templates use real photography with original example content to demonstrate the design. They are not presented as customer websites, measured results, or case studies.
